Do it Yourself Websites – Should You or Shouldn’t You?

There are many do-it-yourself website building platforms availalbe online where you can create your own website. Website builders, such as Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, and now even WordPress, are not as easy as they used to be. Technology changes and added features make it more confusing and time consuming for most people.  These website building software and platforms are similar, but each platform has its own proprietary system, making it difficult to take your website to another platform.  They each have a set of templates, layouts, tools and coding. You can’t just take one website and move it to another platform, so you are stuck with the one you choose….unless you know how to code.

Sites like Weebly.com, Wix.com, Web.com, Squarespace.com, GoDaddy’s web builder, etc., are limited in the choice of templates you can use, and these sites are not as easy to use as they might seem to be.
